Aimllama

Play mobile games on PC with keyboard and mouse, without an emulator

You can play mobile games on a PC with a keyboard and mouse without installing an emulator. Aimllama casts your real Android phone to a Windows app and maps your keys and mouse to touches on the game’s own on-screen controls. The game keeps running on the phone, on your account, with your progress; the PC supplies the screen, the sound and the controls. No root, no virtual machine, no second copy of the game.

Casting instead of emulating

An emulator runs a copy of Android on your PC and installs the game inside it. Aimllama does not: it opens a video stream from the phone, shows it in a window on the monitor, and sends each key press back to the phone as a touch at the spot you chose. The phone does all the rendering, so the PC needs no gaming hardware and the game sees a normal phone with a finger on its screen. That is the whole difference, and it is why nothing is cloned, virtualised or modified.

What the PC adds

The Windows app is the optional upgrade to the phone app, and it adds three things. The lowest-latency control path: the PC hosts the privileged injection route, so a key press reaches the game faster than any route the phone can offer on its own. A big-screen mirror with the game’s audio played through the PC. And the mapping editor with a real mouse: drag a key chip onto a button on the mirror, press the key, save, and the layout is on the phone too. Recording and a sharper picture are Pro features on the same app.

What you need

An Android phone on Android 11 or newer with the Aimllama app installed, a Windows 10 or 11 PC with the Aimllama Windows app, and either a USB cable or both devices on the same Wi-Fi. Linking is one QR scan from the phone app, or a single click when the cable is in. The setup guide covers Developer options and Wireless debugging step by step, with a drawn figure for each screen; it takes about five minutes the first time and nothing after that.

Compared with the alternatives

Emulators give you a keyboard and mouse but run a second Android, which costs a capable PC, a separate game install and a separate identity as far as the game is concerned. Key-mapper apps on the phone give you the keyboard without the PC, but the mapping runs on the phone’s own screen. Aimllama is the third shape: the phone runs the game and the PC runs the controls and the display. The Aimllama phone app also works entirely on its own, so the PC is a choice, not a requirement.

What it never does

Aimllama does not detect targets, read the game for enemies or move your aim. It maps your inputs and can switch layouts when the screen state changes. Whether a game’s publisher permits keyboard-and-mouse play is the publisher’s rule and yours to check before you play ranked; our terms of use say so plainly.

Does the game know it is being cast?

The phone uses Android’s own screen-capture and debugging paths, the same ones a developer tool would. The game runs unchanged and receives ordinary touches. Aimllama does not hide itself and does not claim to.
