WASD+ and Aimllama solve the same problem the same way: the game stays on your Android phone, the PC mirrors it, and your keyboard and mouse become touches. Neither is an emulator, and both say so. The differences are in what happens away from the PC, how the phone connects, and how much of the layout is yours to change. This page sticks to what each product’s own site says; check theirs for anything not stated here.
Where they are alike
Both run on Windows and connect an Android phone with USB debugging switched on. Both describe the approach as projection rather than cloning, and both put WASD on the movement stick and the mouse on the look area for shooters. Both ship ready-made layouts for the big titles: WASD+ lists PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, Free Fire and CrossFire as adapted; Aimllama ships starting layouts for PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, Arena Breakout and Delta Force, with templates for the rest.
Where WASD+ is stronger
Its adapted games need no configuration. WASD+’s site says its deeply adapted shooters work with no key setup at all, including the backpack, map and driving scenes. That is a real advantage on day one. Aimllama’s starting layouts are placed over the stock HUD and expect you to drag anything that does not line up with your own buttons, save, and move on. It takes a minute per game, and it is a minute WASD+ can skip on the games it has adapted.
Where Aimllama is different
The phone works alone. Pair a Bluetooth or USB-OTG keyboard, mouse or controller and the phone app maps keys with no PC in the room; WASD+ is a PC product. Controllers are a third input class in Aimllama today; WASD+’s site lists gamepad support as planned. The PC link works over Wi-Fi as well as USB, with its own bitrate setting. Any game can be mapped, not only the adapted list: a template gives you a stick and a look area and you place the rest. Layouts travel as a short share code, so one player’s work becomes everyone’s. And the mapping runs in one shared core on the phone and the PC, so a layout made on the desktop is the same layout in your pocket.
What neither should do
Aimllama never reads the screen for enemies and never moves your aim; it maps your inputs and can switch layouts when the screen state changes. We do not make claims about how WASD+ works inside. What is true of both: whether a publisher permits keyboard-and-mouse play is the publisher’s rule and the player’s responsibility, whatever any tool’s site says about accounts. Our terms of use put it in writing.
Can I run both?
Not at the same time on one phone. Each mirror opens the phone’s video encoder, and the second one starves the first. Close one before opening the other.
