Aimllama lets you play Genshin Impact on your own Android phone with a keyboard and mouse, or mirrored to a Windows PC on a monitor. The game keeps running on your phone, on your own account: no root, no emulator, no second install. Genshin Impact does not yet ship with a ready-made starting layout; you start from the Shooting template, which places the movement stick and the look area, and add the rest of the buttons where your HUD draws them. A starting layout is in preparation and this page will say so when it lands.
Building the layout
Genshin’s controls are few and fixed, which makes it a quick one. WASD on the joystick and the mouse on the look area come from the template. Then place attack on the left mouse button, the elemental skill on E, the burst on Q, jump on Space, sprint on Shift, the four party slots on 1 to 4, interact on F, the map on M and the inventory on B: the same keys the PC version uses, so nothing has to be relearned. Tap each button, press the key, save. Gliding and climbing use the same stick and look, so one layout covers the open world; add a second layout for a menu-heavy mode if you like and switch with F2 on the PC or the situation tab on the phone.
Getting a layout from another player
Every layout has a Copy icon on the game’s page in the app, producing a short code that carries the button positions and binds and nothing else. Paste someone’s Genshin code into Genshin’s page and their buttons land on yours; positions are stored as fractions of the screen, so a code from a different phone still lines up. That is the ten-second route today.
Phone alone, or mirrored to a PC
With a Bluetooth or USB-OTG keyboard and mouse the phone works on its own. Linked to the Windows app, the PC mirrors the game to your monitor with its audio and hosts the lowest-latency control path, over USB or Wi-Fi; the phone still renders the game, which is why nothing is emulated and why your progress is exactly the progress you had. What it will never do
Aimllama does not read the screen and does not move your aim or your camera on its own. It maps the inputs you make to touches, and it can switch layouts when the screen state changes; that is the extent of it. Whether Genshin Impact’s publisher permits keyboard-and-mouse play on the mobile version is the publisher’s rule and yours to check; our terms of use say so. Genshin has a PC version. Why mirror the phone?
Because the PC version is a separate install of many tens of gigabytes, and because the PC you have may not run it. Mirroring plays the mobile build you already have, at the phone’s frame rate, on a monitor, with the PC doing nothing but decoding video. If you own a gaming PC, the native version is the better picture.
